About Us

Dr. Ann Ho earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (D.D.S.) from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). She was awarded a Master of Healthcare Administration (M.H.A.) and a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) from the University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Ho also holds a B.S in Pharmacy from Taipei Medical University which gives her a unique perspective on the effects that some prescription drugs can have on dental issues.


Dr. Ho keeps up to date with current advances in dentistry. She had fellowship training and received certifications in advanced implant dentistry and advanced cosmetic dentistry at UCLA. She was awarded Diplomate of Implant Dentistry by the American Board of Implant Dentistry. She also received the honor of Mastership in Implant Dentistry from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, as well as a certification in orofacial pain at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Ho is also certified with Invisalign and Laser Dentistry.


After years of practice in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dr. Ho is well known for her gentle touch and for listening carefully to the concerns of her patients. When asked about her ultimate goal as a dentist and her philosophy for patient care, Dr. Ho replied “I am treating you with the same level of dedication and care that I give to my family and myself.” “We are treating our patients not only with quality care; but also, with a compassionate heart.”


Dr. Ho also has numerous honors that showcase her commitment to excellence both professionally and personally. She has awards from the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society, the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Dental Society, and UCSF among others. Dr. Ho’s love of the arts is exemplified by her awards for calligraphy, ballet, and music especially an award diploma for her piano performance at the British Royal Music Academy in the UK.


Born in Taiwan, Dr Ho immigrated to the United States in the early 1990’s with her parents and two brothers. Her parents instilled in her the importance of a good education while emphasizing the values of helping those less fortunate than oneself. Dr. Ho’s care for the people in her community makes her a devoted dentist today.


Giving back to the community is very important to Dr. Ho. She has dedicated herself as a volunteer provider of dental healthcare. Dr. Ho is committed to the Free Community Dental Clinics of the Tzu Chi Foundation in Northern California. She also provides free dental services for the elderly at the Salvation Army Church. Lastly, Dr. Ho has served on the South Asian Dental Health Care Service Team of the Tzu Chi Foundation.


Dr. Ho likes to spend her leisure time playing classical music on the piano, violin and viola. Dr. Ho and her husband make their home in the Bay Area and take pleasure in movies, reading, golfing, biking and travel.
